Opera UCT makes history with the world-première staging of Donizetti’s opera Dalinda.

The seventeenth edition of this annual competition for ensemble playing, sponsored by the Schock Foundation. This final round will feature ensembles selected from the chamber music concerts throughout the year.

Bowed Electrons (BE) @ UCT is an annual festival and symposium hosted by the SACM. The event offers a platform for performances of electro-acoustic music by invited composers and it also serves as a discussion forum.

The 21st edition of the Laura Searle Prize for Piano Concerto Playing, which is open to all piano students of the SACM. Part of the prize is the perform with the UCT Symphony Orchestra next year.

For this concert UCT String Ensemble joins forces with the strings of the Cape Town Philharmonic Youth Orchestra to perform Händel, Mozart and South African composer Hans Huyssen.
